Levi's Stadium Overview
Levi's Stadium opened in 2014 as the home of the San Francisco 49ers and was designed with sustainability in mind β it was the first NFL stadium to earn a LEED Gold certification. The stadium features a rooftop solar panel system, a native plant garden on the roof, and uses recycled water for irrigation. Its open design takes advantage of the Bay Area's mild climate, though it includes a large canopy to protect fans from occasional rain.
