Mercedes-Benz Stadium Overview

Mercedes-Benz Stadium, opened in 2017, is considered the crown jewel of modern stadium design. Winner of numerous architectural awards, it features a retractable roof inspired by the oculus of the Pantheon in Rome β€” eight steel "petals" fold back to reveal an opening to the sky. The stadium is LEED Platinum certified, the highest sustainability rating, and is powered partly by on-site solar panels. It's home to both the Atlanta Falcons (NFL) and Atlanta United FC (MLS).
